Where did the narrative begin that pain is a bad thing? Pain produces promise. Pain produces purpose. Pain produces.
It doesn’t feel good going through trials. It hurts so much knowing deep levels of grief. But pain isn’t experienced in vain. Pain reveals areas of our heart that we didn’t know existed. Pain lifts the veil on dormant parts of our soul.
If we agree with the rhetoric that pain is bad then that’s what it will produce. If we stand firm in the truth that paint isn’t a bad thing then goodness will inevitably abound.
“I am convinced that any suffering we endure is less than nothing compared to the magnitude of glory that is about to be unveiled within us.”
(Romans 8:18 TPT)
